Piecing together a photo production can feel like solving a puzzle with missing parts. Who's the right team for this project? Where's the right location or the perfect studio setting? – it's a lot to juggle.
It can be downright overwhelming, especially when communication falters and options seem scarce but at Steven Karl Metzer Photography we're here to change that.
From Concept To Production in 4 Easy Steps:
STEP 1: INITIAL CALL
We set up a video call to gather the initial information about the type of photoshoot you are looking for. We cover everything from the budget to the messaging you want to convey, lighting style, locations and anything else that the shoot might entail. From there we build you the project estimate.
STEP 2: CREATIVE CALL
You start by sharing your initial concept for your campaign so we’re 100% aligned on your creative vision. We share additional ideas and concepts and talk over any other specifics so our team can be aligned with your campaign.
STEP 3: TREATMENT
You walk away with a comprehensive visual treatment which will allow you to rest easy and be able to see more clearly the images we will create on the shoot day. The visual treatment will show the types of camera angles, cropping, locations, props, surfaces, crew, models, sets, etc. It will also include examples of lighting styles with visual reference images.
STEP 4: SHOOT DAY
We provide a comfortable working area for clients to call home for the day. We walk you through the run of show and let you and your clients see any sets or locations as well as meet the crew. We provide an easy way for you to view the images in real time. If your clients wants to view the images remotely as we are shooting we can also do that as well.
